Konemor har ytret ønske om at jeg skal brygge en Brown ale til henne. Og jeg vil jo nødig skuffe henne. Så hvis noen vil dele en all-grain oppskrift på en god Brown Ale, så ville jeg vært svært takknemlig.....

Her er en nedskalert variant av Janets Brown, syntes selv det ble en fryktelig god Amerikansk Brown Ale.
Brygget den til et 40-årslag, tenkte det var lurt å dempe alkoholen en smule. For å bruke opp slanter har oppskriften både pilsnermalt, pale ale malt og maris otter malt. Ville erstattet med bare maris otter eller pale.
