Hi Atle,
Thank you for sharing the video. Upon review, it appears that the filter fits well.
We also examined your recipe and found everything in order. In fact, you're using a relatively small amount of hops for such a large batch size. Based on this information, we believe the issue may be due to the grain crush being too fine. So please can you try and increase the grain crush and see how that goes?
Additionally, here are a couple of tips that might help:
- When stirring the grains in the grain basket, be cautious as it's easy to dislodge the grains. This can lead to clogging or poor circulation.
- Allow the mash to settle for a few minutes before starting the recirculation. This ensures that everything settles properly at the base, promoting better flow and efficiency.
We hope these suggestions help improve your brewing experience. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Kindest Regards,

Hi Atle,
For standard base malts the size should be between 1.3-1.5mm but for your case we would suggest the upper end. so 1.5mm.
